JOHNSON – Dennis Rogers, 61, died Wednesday, March 7 2018 at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City.  

He was born Aug. 12, 1956 to William and Thelma (Lewis) Rogers in Sacramento, Calif. 

He married Char England March 22, 2003, in West Sacramento, Calif. She survives.

He received his Master of Education degree and while in California, he taught math and was a high school principal.  

He was a great musician, talented cartoonist, and loved the Lord immensely. 

He also enjoyed road trips with his wife.

Survivors also include his father; daughter, Amber Deporto, Oregon; and brother, Dave Rogers and wife, Cara Lee, West Sacramento, Calif.

He was preceded in death by his mother; and an infant sister.

 Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Monday, March 12, 2018 at Stanton County Cemetery in Johnson with Pastor Curt Alderton presiding.  

Memorials are suggested to the Kidney Foundation in care of Garnand Funeral Home, PO Box 715, Johnson, Kansas 67855.
