SATANTA – Rita Hernandez, 57, died Friday, March 9, 2018 in Lakin. 

She was born April 14, 1960 to Santos Hernandez and Paula Valles in Mason, Texas.  

She was adopted by her grandmother, Epemina Hernandez and uncle, Johnny Hernandez. 

Survivors include uncle, Johnny Herenandez; cousins: Katie and Sal Limon, Satanta, Lois Oropeza, Lakin, Jesse Urteaga, Amarillo, Texas, Gilbert and Sherry Urteaga, Lakin, Gracie and Leo Munoz Sr., Deerfield, and Robert and Mary Urteage, Amarillo, Texas; nieces, Diane Hurtado, Sunray, Texas, and Daniele Jost, San Angelo, Texas; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Epemina Hernandez.

• Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 17, 2018 at the Dudley Township Cemetery in Satanta.

Friends may call from 1 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 16, 2018 at Paul’s-Robson Funeral Home in Satanta.
