Seward County Fire Rescue, along with EMS and sheriff’s office personnel, extinguished a blaze late Thursday night at a commercial structure in rural parts of the county.
A post from the Seward County, KS Facebook page said shortly before 11 p.m., Fire Rescue was dispatched to a commercial structure fire on Road 4 east of Liberal.
“Liberal City Fire Rescue also responded with county units,” the post said. “Units arrived on scene to find a vehicle fully involved in the building.”
The post added firefighters made an interior attack, and the fire was extinguished. A total of seven fire apparatus and 14 firefighters responded.
“The fire is under investigation at this time,” the post said. “Damage values are not available at this time.”
