Around 11 a.m. Tuesday, emergency responders were dispatched to 230 W. Pancake at the Motel 9 for an auto accident. It was reported that a vehicle had driven into one of the rooms causing extensive damage. A press release from the Liberal Police Department stated investigating officers found that a 29-year-old female had lost control of the 2011 black Ford pickup she was driving. Inside the vehicle was also the driver’s female infant child. Neither were injured as a result of the incident. Daily Leader photo/Robert Pierce
