Saturday afternoon from 1 to 3 p.m., Liberal Parks and Rec Department invited the community to enjoy its annual Christmas Carnival. Activities Supervisor Ronna Stump said approximately 125 visitors participated in the carnival. “It went great,” Stump said. “We played basketball, we played football, we had an inflatable, we fished, we chose ducks and had a Pepsi ring toss. Pepsi donated the product for that. I would really like to thank all of the sponsors. Pepsi, Best Market – they donated the cookies, Walmart donated a $25 gift card so we could buy prizes for BINGO, Jane Eisnehauer and her husband donated some candy canes and Wendy’s donated some coupons. We really appreciate all of them.” L&T photo/Jessica Crawford
