EMMA J. CAUSEY

Emma Joyce Causey, 61, died Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2009, at Via Christi St. Francis Hospital in Wichita.

She was born Sept. 7, 1947, to Roy and Mary (Robertson) Matthews in Dalhart, Texas.  

She married Patrick Causey Dec. 14, 1994, in Lubbock, Texas. He survives.

She graduated from Sunray High School in Sunray, Texas.  

She was a homemaker. 

She was a member of Trinity Faith Church.

Survivors include two sons, Stephen Austin, Minneapolis, Minn., and Scott Austin and wife, Penny, Windsor Locks, Conn.; two sisters, Carolyn Whitehead and husband, W.E., Austin, Texas, and Robin Brewton and husband, Wade, Leawood; two grandchildren; one nephew, Landry Brewton, Leawood; and one niece, Shelley Lowry, Temple, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

o Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Kitch-Brenneman Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dee Estes presiding.  

Cremation has taken place.
