Obituary

HUGOTON – Michael Lee “Taco” Medina Jr., 55, died Thursday, Dec. 23, 2010, at his home.

He was born Aug. 23, 1955, to Manuel and Susie (Guerrero) Medina in Hugoton.

He married Donice Arellano Jan. 10, 1976, in Hugoton. She survives.

He was a truck driver for Double T Trucking in Rolla.

He was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church of Hugoton and Knights of Columbus.

Other survivors include his parents; one son, Seth Medina, Hugoton; two brothers, Bobby Medina, Topeka, and Jesse Medina and wife, Belinda, Hugoton; three sisters, Theresa Estes and husband, Ralph, Dodge City, Yolanda Blattner and husband, Jeff, Montezuma, and Patricia Oder and husband, Fred, Canyon, Texas; two grandchildren, Theodore Stewart and Kathleen Medina; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Aidreah Medina.

o Funeral mass was at 10:30 a.m. today St. Helen Catholic Church of Hugoton with Father Pascal Klein presiding.

Burial was at the Hugoton Cemetery.

A vigil service took place at 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 26, at St. Helen Catholic Church in Hugoton.
