A Wichita man was injured as the result of a two-vehicle collision Friday in Haskell County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported around 9:40 a.m. Friday, David A. Miller, 49, of Wichita was driving a 2001 Chrysler Town and Country eastbound on U.S. Highway 56 about nine miles east of Sublette, when the vehicle went left of center.
The Chrysler then struck a westbound 2011 Peterbilt semi before coming to rest in the road with Miller trapped inside. Miller was transported to Satanta District Hospital with injuries. The KHP reported the driver of the semi, Lawrence D. Withers, 50, of Copeland was not injured in the accident.
Seat belts were equipped and in use in both vehicles.
