TULSA, Okla. — Drew Wilson had 14 points and 10 rebounds to lead the 5A No. 2 East Central Cardinals (4-2) past the Class B No. 2 Bulldogs (9-2) in the fifth-place game Thursday in the Cherokee Nations Tournament of Champions.
Berto Long had seven of his 12 points in the first quarter to spark the Cardinals to a 20-10 lead and they were never threatened.
Long also contributed six rebounds. Rhett Radcliff paced Forgan with 15 points and seven rebounds.
Forgan travels to Turpin Tuesday night to face the Cardinals before heading to the Woodward tournament next weekend.
