A Wichita woman sustained injuries in a one-vehicle collision Friday morning in Meade County.
Around 10:45 a.m., the Kansas Highway Patrol reported the driver of a 2002 Infiniti westbound on U.S. Highway 54 approximately 15 miles east of the Kansas Highway 23 junction had lost control of the vehicle on a patch of ice.
The vehicle then slid into the north ditch and rolled one time, according to KHP. The driver, Rashida Tahirah Ross, 35, of Wichita was taken to Minneola District Hospital with injuries.
Two passengers, Mikalia Jackson, 2, and Maliyah Jackson, 5, both of Wichita were also taken to the Minneola hospital, but neither was injured.
Safety restraints were in use by all in the vehicle.
