Mary Jane Holterman, 61, died Sunday, Jan. 2, 2011, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
She was born Sept. 5, 1949, to Jay W. and Florence E. (Whitman) McCurry in Russell.
She graduated from Liberal High School in 1968.
She was a receptionist at Citizens State Bank.
She was on the Board of Directors for the Great Plains Angel for Animals when it first started.
She enjoyed reading and online poker.
Survivors include one son, Todd Vanley and wife, Jennifer, Liberal; two daughters, Tera Piper and husband, Jeffrey, Liberal, and Tiffany Brady and husband, Michael, Liberal; two sisters, Jackie Zimmerman, Longmont, Colo., and Connie Slemp and husband, Larry, Hugoton; and 10 grandchildren, Stephanie, John and Jesse Piper, Heather and Kimberly Vanley, Casey and Courtney Widener and Austin, Jacob and Cheyenne Brady.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Gary McCurry.
o Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Brenneman Funeral Home with Pastor Jerry Odle presiding.
Cremation has taken place, and burial will be at Restlawn Cemetery, following services.
The guest register book may be signed from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday at Brenneman Funeral Home.
