MONTEZUMA – Ruth M. Kehn, 84, died Monday, Jan. 3, 2011, at Bethel Home Inc. in Montezuma.
She was born Jan. 10, 1926, to William B. and Kathryn (Schmidt) Koehn in Gray County.
She married Sam J. Kehn June 13, 1948, in Montezuma. He died May 29, 1995.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Church of God in Christ Mennonite in Ulysses.
Survivors include three sons, Jim Kehn and wife, Anita, Ulysses, Victor Kehn and wife, Joyce, Macon, Miss., and Joe Kehn and wife, Rita, Bradley, Ark.; two daughters, Sherri Kehn, Montezuma, and Jonetta Yost and husband, Rod, Ulysses; one brother, Jake Koehn and wife, Ila, Victoria, Texas; two sisters, Carrie Penner and husband, Abe, Cartwright, Manitoba, Canada, and Fern Ensz and husband, Ervin, El Mirage, Ariz.; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Frances Isaac and husband, Allen, Montezuma; and other relatives and friends.
She was als preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Curtis, Allen and Junior Koehn; and two sisters, Evelyn Koehn and Lena Jantzen.
o Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Grant Mennonite Church in Ulysses with ministers Stuart Jantzen, Denton Koehn and Kelly Isaac presiding.
Burial will be at the Grant Mennonite Church Cemetery in Ulysses.
Friends may call until 8 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday at Grant County Funeral Home.
