LAVERNE, Okla. – Natalee June Wilmot Smith, 93, died Friday, Dec. 31, 2010 at her residence.
She was born March 18, 1917, to Marshall (Doc) and Cady Wilmot north of Rosston, Okla.
She married Elmo J. Smith, April 2, 1938. He died in 1979.
She was a member of the Rosston Methodist church where she taught Sunday school.
She joined a chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution in Eureka Springs, Ark., and remained a member until 2008 when she joined National.
She loved to travel, work in her garden and cook.
Survivors include her four children, Martha and Keith Blankenship, Thomas and Scotty Smith, Susan and Larry Wicker and Ginger and Bill Schneider; one sister, Ardath Mae Wilmot Di Stefano; 10 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; three step-children; and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Marshall Besden Wilmot, Horace Greeley Wilmot, Bill Carson Wilmot and Jack Wilmot; and one grandson, Bryan Elmo Blankenship.
o Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Rosston United Methodist Church with Pastor Roger Parker and Pastor Wes Peterman presiding.
Burial will be at the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to the Rosston Methodist Church or the Rosston Fire Department.
