The Turpin Cardinals bounced back from their opening round loss at the Texhoma Tournament, Friday afternoon by whipping the Boise City Wildcats 71-18.
The Cardinals were in control from the opening tip, outscoring Boise City 21-6 in the first quarter and 21-5 in the second to lead 42-11 at the half. Turpin’s dominance continued in the second half as they outscored the Wildcats 10-4 in the third and 19-3 in the fourth.
Turpin’s Francisco Regalado led all scorers with 18; Bradley Kinser added 14, and Allen Keene 13. Turpin takes on Hardesty for the consolation championship Saturday.
