The Tyrone Lady Bobcats outscored the Turpin Lady Cardinals by four points in the fourth quarter win by the same margin, 39-35, on the second day of the Texhoma Tournament.
The game was tight throughout with the first quarter ending in a 10-10 tie. Tyrone jumped out to a 21-17 lead at the end of the second quarter, but Turpin bounced back in the third. The Lady Cardinals outscored Tyrone 8-4 to knot the game at 25 after three quarters of play.
Darrian Deleon led the Lady Bobcats with 13, and Shayla Cornelson added 7. Raegan Alvarez led the Lady Cardinals with 11, and Dakota Moon added 7.
Tyrone will play Goodwell in the girls’ consolation championship Saturday, and Turpin will take on Hardesty in the seventh place game.
