Clerk’s office announces important dates, deadlines for upcoming election

A city commisssion or school board primary will not be required, according to deputy county clerk Crystal Clemens.
The general election will occur Tuesday, April 5. 
The voter registration deadline for the April 5 general election is Monday, March 21. 
Advance voting in person will begin March 21 in the Seward County Administration Building, Ste. 101. Advance voting in person ends at noon April 4. 
County staff will begin mailing advance ballots March 16. The deadline to apply for an advance ballot by mail is April 1.
