Tyrone improves to 10-5 with win over Goodwell PDF Print E-mail

The Tyrone Lady Bobcats used big offense in the first quarter and a great defense in the second half to take the consolation game at the Texhoma Tournament over the Goodwell Lady Eagles 62-38.

The Lady Bobcats scored 23 points in the first quarter and held the Lady Eagles to 12.

Tyrone went to the intermission leading 35-25. In the second half Tyrone’s defense stepped up holding Goodwell to only 6 and 7 points in the third and fourth quarter, and increased their lead by seven each quarter to win 62-38.

Lyndsey White led the Lady Bobcats with 26, Adrienne Sanborn scored 15, and Shayla Cornelson added 13.

Chaney Latham led Goodwell with 17.

The Lady Bobcats improved their record to 10-5 and will play at Turpin on Tuesday.
