Tyrone, Okla., High School will host its graduation ceremonies, including baccalaureate and commencement, starting at 2 p.m. Sunday.
The school has released the names of its valedictorian and two salutatorians for the Class of 2011.
The valedictorian is Celestina Padilla. She is the 18-year-old daughter of Jesus and Liz Valles. She participated in NHS, speech/drama, STUCO, softball, choir and FCA. Her future plans include continuing her education at Seward County Community College, then transferring to a university. She hopes to pursue a career in law.
The first salutatorian is Cassi Courkamp. She is the daughter of Mitch and Michelle Courkamp. She participated in softball, basketball, cheerleading and track. She is a member of FCA, NHS and choir. Her future plans are to attend SCCC to study nursing.
The other salutatorian is Kirsten McCann. She is the daughter of Michelle McCann. She was active in softball, choir and NHS. Her plans for the future are to attend SCCC then transfer to Northwestern to study pre-med. She plans to continue working at the Crazy House to help get through college.
