2010 (Sophomore): At Nicholls State, Blake Bergeron made 49 starts and appeared in 52 of the Colonels’ 56 games. He finished in the top five on the team in triples (tied for first with 3) doubles (tied for first with 12), hit by pitch (first with16), runs scored (fourth with 41) and on-base percentage (fifth, .361).
Bergeron recorded 12 multi-hit games and turned in a career-high 12-game hitting streak going 17-for-42 (.405) with 8 RBI, 19 runs scored, four doubles and one triple. He also posted a .406 on-base percentage in Southland Conference play.
2009 (Freshman): As a redshirt-freshman Bergeron appeared in 12 games and made six starts. He hit .286 (6-for-21) with two doubles, a triple and three RBI. His first career hit he recorded on Feb. 28 at Mississippi State, going 1-for-1. Bergeron recorded his first career multi-hit game on March 22 at Stephen F. Austin, going 3-for-3 with two doubles, an RBI and a run scored.

At Terrebonne High School Bergeron was a four-year letterwinner, named First Team All-District, was Honorable Mention All-State as a senior, then received Second Team All-State accolades as a junior.
