Freshman Trenton Hammond earned a gold medal at the state track meet Saturday and Edbayo Braimah came in fourth to help the Redskins to a fifth place finish at the state meet by scoring 14 points in the event.

Hammond turned in a time of 39.07, a full second faster than Anover Central's Cole Kretchmer (40.12). Tyler Lance earned bronze with a time of 40.43, and Braimah took fourth with a time of 40.51.
