Fern O. Wilgus Guymon, Okla. – Fern Ola Wilgus, 82, died Friday, Feb. 13, 2009, in Oklahoma City. She was born Sept. 20, 1926, to Clemma (Hoskinson) and Elmer Folmer in Liberal. She married Lois Ray Wilgus Oct. 23, 1943. He survives. She attended Liberal schools and graduated from Liberal High School in 1944. She had worked at the Baughman Investment Company in Liberal and for the Panhandle Livestock Commission Company and the Texas County Treasurer’s Office. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene. She was a member of the Merry Glazer’s Ceramic Club. She enjoyed her family, scrapbooking and traveling. Other survivors include one son, Roger Wilgus and wife, Annette, Guymon, Okla.; one daughter, Teresa and husband, David Randle, Hays; one sister, Delpha and husband, Jamie Oglesby, Thomasville, Ga.; five grandchildren, Tammie Nelson, Beloit, Angela and husband, Kevin Heier, Sedgwick, Davesa and husband, Donald Cousins, and Shayla Randle, all of Hays, and Logan Wilgus, Guymon; and nine great-grandchildren. o Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Church of the Nazarene at 2214 N. Sunset in Guymon with the Rev. Wayne Dawson presiding. Burial will follow at 4 p.m. at the Liberal Memorial Gardens.
