Leader & Times staff report

The two wins at Hays began a critical part of the season for the Bee Jays. Liberal will play 12 straight days before getting another day off.

That streak will include the annual Fourth of July celebration at Brent Gould Field.

No determination has been made whether or not the fireworks display will follow.

Four of the 12 games will be against non-league competition beginning tonight when Liberal hosts the Greeley Grays from Colorado. The three-game homestand will be followed by a single game in Dodge, a hoe game with the West Texas Outlaws, another single game at Dodge, two home games against Dodge, and then two more on the road against Hays.
And then a day off.
