The Southwest Aquatics Team made their way to Kansas City last weekend for the division II state meet last weekend.
Seven swimmers qualified,  Yvette Rito, Paige Young, Kaitlyn Martin, Ashley Ermann, Josiah Mann, Noah Martin & Emilio Tovilla.
The swimmers participated as a Western Kansas swim team representing all 12 teams in the region.
Two swimmers placed in the three-day event.
Martin took first in the 100 meter breast stroke for gold.
Tovilla took third in the 50 meters freestyle as well as the 400 meters free style.
