MEADE – Terry Lee Roberts, 49, died Saturday, April 4, 2009.

He was born Oct. 15, 1959, to  Amon Marion “Cotton” and Isola Amelia (Ward) Roberts.

He married Bea Roberts Feb. 27, 1990, in Lakin. She survives.

He worked in the oilfield for more than 15 years, 11 of those for Henkle Water Wells.   

He enjoyed being on his grandparents’s farm in Englewood or running the hills of Arkansas with his cousins and brothers and riding motorcycles. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, barbequing, sitting by the campfire and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is also survived by his mother; four children, Wendy Roberts and husband, Mario, Garden City, Kurt Roberts and wife, Savannah, Meade, Jessica Bilodeau and husband, Shawn, Meade, and Shane Salazar, Garden City; three brothers, Bill Roberts and wife, Bunnie, Gransbury, Texas, Tom Roberts and wife, Lola, Meade, and John Roberts and wife, Michelle, Meade; and five grandchildren, Summer Rose, Gaige Joseph, Ricky Lee, Dezmond Michael and Kien Lee; his mother-in-law, Patricia Langenbeau, Mora, Minn.; two brothers-in-law, Jim Lagenbau and wife, Sarah, Mora, and Roy Langenbau and wife, Jennifer, Mora; one sister-in-law, Jennifer Langenbau; two nieces; two nephews; and many great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father and father-in-law, Roy Langenbau.

o Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Ron Willard presiding.  

Cremation has taken place.  

Burial will be at the Graceland Cemetery in Meade.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Terry Roberts memorial fund in care of the funeral home.
