JAMES W. CARVER

James Willies Carver, 41, died Tuesday, March 17, 2009, at Memorial Hospital of Texas County in Guymon, Okla. 

He was born Aug. 16, 1967, to Bill and Barbara Courtney in Guymon.

He first worked for Burch Angus Ranch in Troy, Okla., for eight years, and in 1996, began work for Hitch Feeders, where he worked at the time of his death. 

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, baseball, football and loved his chihuahua.  

He is survived by his mother; four sisters, Alzan Beaird and husband, Bill, Fox, Okla., Rondia Carver, New Orleans, Michiell Hyer and husband, Neal, Guymon, and Melinda Nicewonder and husband, Al, Ithaca, Mich.; one stepbrother, Billy Jack Courtney and wife, Cindy, Guymon; and one stepsister, Lisa Brungardt, Liberal.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather and one brother, David Carver.

o Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Roberts Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Hooker, Okla., with Fred Fischer presiding. 

Burial will be at Elmhurst Cemetery in Guymon.

Memorials are suggested and may be left at Roberts Brothers Funeral Home Inc., Box 745, Hooker, OK 73945.
