The Lady Mustangs took second at their home tournament Saturday.

Southwestern Heights defeated Satanta 25-9, 25-11 to open pool play, and then knocked off Hugoton 25-12, 25-20.

The Lady Mustangs fell to Ulysses 25-13, 25-17 to finish 2-1 in pool play.

The Lady Mustangs bounced back in bracket play, defeating Cimarron 16-25, 25-18, 25-16.

But the Ulysses Lady Tigers proved to be too much for Heights in the championship, and the Lady Mustangs dropped the title match 25-18, 25-17.
