Hugoton’s Gary Hinds won the overall title during Sunday’s Amateur Trap Association’s Registered Shoot at the Liberal Gun Club.

In the first event, Kismet’s Greg Standard won the 100 singles shoot out of 13 competitors.

Standard shot a 95 in Class A.

Shawn Massey shot a 96 in Class A, Liberal’s TC Maybell and Hinds tied in Class B with a 94, and Hugoton’s Bruce Cochrane shot an 85 in Class C.

in the 100 Handicap event, Hinds took first  in the mid-yardage (24

yards) with a 92.

Maybell shot a 90 at 23 yards, and Jacob Apsley shot a 76 in the short yardage event (19 yards).

  In the 50 Pair Doubles event, Hinds also won in Class B with a 90.

William Larrabee from Liberal shot a 72 in Class B, and Standard and Maybell tied in Class C with a 70.

The next registered shoot will be 10 a.m. Sept. 20.
