Beatrice Loeppke

Beatrice “Bea” Loeppke, 94, died Sunday, May 31, 2009, at Kearny County Hospital in Lakin.

She was born May 22,1915, to Pearl and Mary (Lawson) Murphy in Penalosa. 

She married Harlan Loeppke June 13, 1939 at Hutchinson.  He died on June 18, 1990. 

He attended school in Langdon. 

She taught first grade. 

She is survived by one son, Lanny Loeppke and wife,Janet, Lakin; one daughter, Wilda Easterday and husband, Dave, Meade; one brother, Donald Murphy and wife, Ruth, Hutchinson; and nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildern. 

She was preceded in death by her parents. 

o Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Wesleyan Church in Lakin with Reverend Mark Hamel presiding.

A private graveside service will be held at the Lakin Cemetery. 

Friends may call untill 8 p.m. today at Garnand Funeral Home in Lakin. 

Memorials are suggested to the Bea Loeppke Scholarshi Fund in care of Garnand Funeral Home, PO Box 91, Lakin KS 67860.
