Cornelia Maynard

Cornelia Maynard, 87, died at Morton County Hospital in Elkhart.

She was born June 14, 1921 to James S. and Frankie Mae Williams Maynard in Tyrone, Okla. 

She never married.

He attended school in Tyrone, Okla. 

She worked for Tri-County Electric Cooperative in Hooker, Okla. 

She is survived by two brothers, James “Jim” R. Maynard and wife, Wanita, Beaver, Okla.; and John Maynard and wife, Ruby, Hooker, Okla; one brother in-law; six nieces and four nephews; and many great nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her sister, Ida Lieu Delk. 

o Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church in Hooker, Okla. with Reverend Dan Mazwell and Pastor Jim Roebuck presiding.

Graveside service will be held at the Tyrone Cemetery directed by Roberts Brothers Funeral Home Inc. in Hooker, Okla. 

Memorials are suggested to the Hooker Ambulance Association amd may be left at the Roberts Brothers Funeral Home Inc., Box 745, Hooker, OK 73945.
