PEGGY S. LIVINGSTON
Peggy Sue Livingston, 73, died Tuesday, June 9, 2009, at the Morton County Hospital in Elkhart from complications of Alzheimer’s and diabetes.
She was born Feb. 21, 1936, to John Wesley and Sarah (Sadie) Francis (Wilson) Eyestone in Chandler, Okla.
She married Ted Livingston July 5, 1956, in Boise City, Okla. They later divorced.
She attended school in Chandler, Guymon and Keyes, Okla., graduating from Keyes High School.
She served as the Morton County clerk for six years then worked as office administrator for various companies until her retirement.
She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Elkhart.
She is survived by three sons, Gary Livingston and wife, Betty, Wichita, Brad Livingston and wife, Bobbi, Elkhart, and Brian Livingston and wife, Julie, Rowlett, Texas; one sister, Pat Flanagan and husband, James, Amarillo, Texas; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Karen Burg.
o Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the first Christian Church in Elkhart with Pastor Jim Cunningham presiding.
Burial will follow at the Elkhart Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. at Garnand Funeral Home in Elkhart.
