ANGES M. WAGNER
ELKHART — Anges M. Wagner, 74, died Tuesday, July 14, 2009, at St. Francis — Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice in Wichita.
She was born May 16, 1935, to Gilbert and LeEtta (Richards) Ferris in Fall River.
She married Henry J. Wagner on Feb. 19, 1966, in Solomon. He preceded her in death.
She attended school in Fredonia and moved to Elkhart in 1968.
She worked for the Elkhart School District as a janitor until her retirement.
She was a former member of the Assembly of God Church in Elkhart and a current member of the Assembly of God Church in Hugoton.
She is survived by four sons, Marvin Oliphant, Kansas City, Mo., John Oliphant, Atlantic, Iowa, Kenny Wagner, Pineville, La., and Charles Wagner, Elkhart; three stepchildren, Bonnie Beyer, West Jordan, Utah, Evelyn Harrington, Ogden, Utah, and Jay Wagner, Missoula, Mont.; 17 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and 38 nieces and nephews.
She is also preceded in death by her parents and five sisters, Irene M. Johnson, Garnet Zimmerman, Maxine Weigman, Myrtle Boose and Ruth Slickelman.
o Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Hugoton Assembly of God Church with Pastor Ben Coats presiding.
Graveside service will be at 4 p.m. at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Kingman with Pastor Jim Lemmons presiding.
Friends may call 2 to 8 p.m. today at Garnand Funeral Home in Elkhart.
