Obituary

VIOLA BAKER

Viola Baker, 55, died Thursday, July 2, 2009, at Wheatridge Park Care Center. 

She was born June 16, 1954, to Isiahzear and Laura L. King Baker. 

She is survived by her parents; one brother, Fred Baker, Kansas City, Kan.; six sisters, Novolia Baker Webb, Fort Worth, Texas, Magalnie Wooten, Overland Park, Frankie Witherspoon and husband, Bernard, Arlington, Texas, Gloria Taylor, Dumas, Ark., Ronda Griffin and husband, Donnie, El Paso, Texas, and Shelly Gavidia and husband, Jose, Liberal; and many nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by two brothers, James Franklin and Isiah Baker Jr. 

o Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Bibleway Church of God in Christ with Minister Steve Bailem presiding. 

Burial will follow at the Liberal Cemetery. 

Friends may call from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday at the Miller Mortuary.
