Seward’s Rachel Barnes earned a little respect during her performances at the NJCAA Top 30 All Star games over the weekend at Pensacola, Fla.

Barnes scored 11 points in a limited number of minutes her first game.

In the final, Barnes scoed 22 points in 25 minutes of play and led the team in scroing.

Head coach Toby Wynn was able to watch the game via live stream on the Internet.

“Rachel looked really well,” he said. “She made threes, drove to the basket — she showed how versatile she is. It got me excited about upcoming season.”
