MEADE –  Harvey Lee Underwood, 78, died Friday, Oct. 31, 2008, at Lone Tree Retirement Center in Meade.
He was born Jan. 10, 1930, to Roy and Nanny Mae (Richardson) Brown in Bledsaw County, Tenn.
He married Mary Lou Hickey, April 2, 1957, in Perryton, Texas. She survives.
He attended an electronic school in Denver.
He was a lineman for Hufford & Kryger Contractors and for CMS.
From 1946 to 1949, he served in the National Guard.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church.
He was a member of Webb Lodge No. 275 A.F. and A.M. and the Meade Golf Club.
He enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing, archery, and piloting private planes.
Other survivors include one son, Tracy Underwood, Kailua-Kona, Hawaii; one daughter, Susan Moher, Colorado Springs; three brothers, Jimmie Underwood, Columbia, Dennis Underwood, Columbia, and Earl K. Underwood, Dunlap, Tenn.; two sisters, Joyce Eacok, Galena, and Loretta Layne, Dunlap, Tenn.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; step father, Blaine Underwood; and one grandchild.
o Funeral services will beat 11 a.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church in Meade with the Rev. Harry Fink presiding. 
Friends may call from noon until 5 p.m. at Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary, the casket will remain closed.
Burial will be at the Graceland Cemetery in Meade.
Memorials are suggested to Feed the Children and may be sent in care of the mortuary.
