PEGGY A. BURDGE
MEADE – Peggy Ann Burdge, 52, died Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2009, at her Meade residence.
She was born Nov. 4, 1956, to Emma Rescoe Bartley in Petersburg, Texas.
She married Rick Burdge June 4, 1978, in Meade. He survives.
She attended school in the Plainview area, graduating from Plainview in 1975. She later attended Seward County Community College, receiving her sssociates degree.
She was a homemaker.
She enjoyed going to garage sales, reading, participating in the Relay for Life and spending time with her family and friends.
Other survivors include two sons, Lawrence Burdge, Plainview, Texas, Aaron Burdge, Bartlesville, Okla.; two daughters, Amy Johnson, Bartlesville, and Sarah Nichols, Nashville, Tenn.; one brother, Donny Bartley of Texas; and four sisters, Kathy Knipe, Plainview, Glenda Dominie, Becky Cooper and Diane Welch; four grandchildren, Savannah, Jessica, Esther and Kailyn.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Tom Bartley.
o Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary Chapel in Meade with the Rev. Ken Harder presiding.
Burial will be at the Graceland Cemetery of Meade.
Friends may call from noon to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
