The Liberal cross country teams competed at Oklahoma State University's Jamboree Cross Country Meet Saturday, and the Redskins earned eighth out of 28 teams while the Lady Redskins finished 14 out of 26 teams.

The Lady Redskins ran a two-mile course and were led by Destyni Lucero who finished 24th overall.

The boys were led by Morgan Riggs who turned in a ninth place overall finish.

The two teams will compete at Lakin Saturday in the final preparation for the Western Athletic Conference Meet Oct. 15 at Hays.
