DAVID L. ELLIS
ULYSSES – David LeRoy Ellis, 83, died Monday, Oct. 12, 2009, at the Legacy at Parkview in Ulysses, where he was a resident.
He was born July 5, 1926, to Donald and Gladys (Lemonnier) Ellis in Foster, Neb.
He was the owner of Triangle Construction in Ulysses until his retirement.
Survivors include two adopted sons, Armado Torres, Ulysses, and Joe Torres, Ulysses; 32 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; six nephews; five nieces; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Larry Ellis; and one sister, Udona Goodman.
o Memorial services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday, at the Grant County Funeral Home in Ulysses with Minister Gerry Dupuis presiding.
Cremation has taken place. Inurnment will take place in Nebraska at a later date.
Memorials are suggested to the family and may be mailed in care of Grant County Funeral Home, 218 S. Main, Ulysses, KS 67880.
