Mary Sue Davis, 85, died Sunday, Nov. 8, 2009, at Ware Memorial Living Center in Amarillo, Texas.

She was born June 2, 1924, to Porter and Maud (Woodruff) Pittman in Prairie Grove, Ark.

She married Leonard Price Aug. 13, 1942, Davis at Prairie Grove, Ark. He died April 7, 2005.

She was a 1942 graduate of Prairie Grove High School.

She was a homemaker and helped her husband on the farm.

She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and First United Methodist Church, both of Liberal.

Survivors include two sons, James T. Davis and wife, Lana, Hilton Head, S.C., and Charles Davis and wife, Clementina, Amarillo; one brother, Bill Pittman, Liberal; four grandchildren, Ray Price Davis, Timothy Andrew Davis, Heather L Coryer and James T. Davis II; and five great-grandchildren, Michael Roland Coryer, James Eben Davis, Nathan Leonard Coryer, Eleanor Christine Davis and Samuel Spink Davis.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Joe Pittman, Robert Pittman and Sam Pittman; and one sister, Clementine Pittman.

o Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Kitch-Brenneman Funeral Home Chapel in Liberal with the Rev. David Randall presiding.

Burial will follow at Liberal Cemetery.

Friends may call from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Kitch-Brenneman Funeral Home with the family present to receive friends.

Memorials are suggested to Liberal Home Health and Hospice in care of Kitch-Brenneman Funeral Home, 1212 W. Second, Liberal, KS 67901.
