NADYNE M. GASKILL
HUGOTON – Nadyne M. Gaskill, 88, died Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2009, at Wheatridge Park Care Center in Liberal.
She was born May 1, 1921, to Glen and Helen (Clarkson) Marcellus in Stevens County.
She married Gerald E. Gaskill Feb. 17, 1940, in Elkhart. He died Oct. 17, 1983.
She was a store clerk for Thompson IGA.
She was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church and St. Helen Alter Society, both of Hugoton.
She loved her family and enjoyed being with them.
Survivors include three sons, Rodney Gaskill and wife, Julie, Hugoton, Gregory Gaskill and wife, Janie, Hugoton, and Glen Gaskill and wife, Vicki, Hugoton; one daughter, Joanne Gaskill, Richardson, Texas; one brother, Charles Marcellus and wife, Bobbie, Liberal; four sisters, Helen Rowland, Liberal, Bonny Lofland, Port Lavaca, Texas, Margaret Sullivan, Ponca City, Okla., and Janis McCoid and husband, Leon, Salt Lake City; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; one son, Gary L. Gaskill; two sisters, Betty Carlson and Mary Marcellus; and one grandson, Brent L. Gaskill.
o Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Helen Catholic Church in Hugoton with Father Pascal Klein presiding.
Burial will be at the Hugoton Cemetery.
Friends may call until 8 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Paul’s Funeral Home.
