The Forgan Bulldogs defense held the Fargo Bearcats to only five third quarter points and went on to win the battle of unbeatens 50-39.

Both Forgan and Fargo entered their game ranked in Oklahoma Class B with the winner having a chance to move up further in the rankings. Home team Fargo took an early 13-9 lead, getting scoring from five different players in the first quarter.

The Bulldogs bit back in the second with the Bulldogs outscoring the Bearcats 15-8 to take a 24-21 lead at the half. Ryan Radcliff led the offensive charge for Forgan with 15 points in the first half.

But it was the Bulldog defense in the third that gave Forgan the separation on the scoreboard they needed. Forgan scored a modest 13 in the quarter, but held Fargo to only 5, which increased their lead from three to 11,

Leading 37-26 to start the fourth quarter, Forgan played Fargo basket for basket in the period to go on to win 50-39.

As a team the Bulldogs shot 13-of-27 from 2-point range, 5-of-15 from 3-point range and were 9-of-12 from the charity stripe. Fargo was only 1-of-14 from 3-point range.

Ryan Radcliff finished 8-of-11 from the field and led the Bulldogs with 19 points. Jake Regier added 15 including three second half treys. Rhett Radcliff added 8, Matt Morris 7, and Tayler Eagan 1.
