Fairrie Elizabeth Watson, 94, died Sunday, Sept. 10, 2017 at Liberal Good Samaritan Center in Liberal.  

She was born May 8, 1923 to Alonzo Franklin and Fronie Elizabeth (Black) Rodgers in Wrigley, Tenn.

She married Walter T. Young, Jr., in Feb. 1942 at Corinth, Miss. They later divorced.

She married George Mather Maddox July 1, 1960 in Ft. Knox, Ky. He preceded her in death Nov. 24, 1982.  

She married Orvil Jefferson Watson Nov. 13, 1993. He preceded her in death June 14, 2004.

She worked as a seamstress for Henry I. Seigel (HIS), pants factory in Dickson, Tenn.  

She worked in the food service industry, as cook for many years.  

She was a member of the Emmanuel Southern Baptist Church in Liberal, and the Order of the Eastern Star in Wichita.

Survivors include son, Charles F. Maddox and wife, Sue, Liberal; granddaughter, Tiffany Rene Libel, Wichita; great-grandson Braiden James, Wichita; and many nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Beverly Kaye (Maddox) Libel; four brothers: Loyd, James, Millard and Harvill Rodgers; sisters, Allie and Beulah Rodgers; and grandson Chris Aldon Libel II.

• Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2017 at Broadway Mortuary Wichita with Pastor T. Erin Rush presiding.  

Burial will be at the Resthaven Gardens of Memory in Wichita.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2017 at Brenneman Funeral Home in Liberal with family present to greet family and friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
