Friends of the Meade Library announces schedule of Christmas Home Tour

Friends of the Meade Library has announced the schedule of its Christmas Home Tour, “Sleigh Bells Ring!”

Tickets are now on sale for the event, which will take place from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7.

“Just hear those sleigh bells jingling, ring-ting-tingling, too. Come on, it’s lovely weather for a sleigh ride together with you.”

Please join the Friends of the Meade Library in celebrating the Christmas season by touring the locations of:

• Craig Stratton and Kim Stevens’ home at 15135 19 Rd.

• Lee Ebeling’s home at 407 N. Meade Center.

• Spencer & Rhonda Wiens’ home at 18199 AA Rd.

• St. John Catholic Church at 500 W. Carthage.

• And Maxine DeLissa’s home in Meade Estates at 348 N. Post, Apt. 2.

• A complimentary ride to and from Spencer and Rhonda Wiens’ home is provided courtesy of the Meade County Trolley and is included in the ticket price ($5 in advance or $7.50 the day of).

While people wait inside the library, please enjoy festive goodies and warm beverages provided by the library board and Friends of the Library.

The trolley will leave at 12:30 p.m.; 1:30; 2:30 and 3:30 from the library.

All proceeds go to the Friends of the Meade Library.
