The Forgan Bulldogs shot better, attacked more and turned the ball over less than the Waynoka Railroaders Tuesday night, resulting in a 63-21 win for the Bulldogs.

Forgan had a 19-point advantage after the first quarter of play, leading 22-3. That lead was pushed to 30 at halftime.

On the night, the Bulldogs shot 40 percent from the field, while the Railroaders shot a mere 14 percent.

Forgan was 5-of-20 from beyond the arch in the game, and Waynoka hit 1-of-12 three pointers.

Percentage wise, the Railroaders were better from the free throw line, going 6-of-8 for 75 percent, although the Bulldogs got there more often, going 8-of-11 for 73 percent.

The two teams combined for 44 turnovers in the game, with Waynoka accounting for 28 of them, while Forgan had 16.

After putting up 40 points in the first half, the Bulldogs managed to add 23 more in the second half, scoring 14 in the third and nine in the fourth.

The Forgan defense was stingy from beginning to end, allowing 10 points in the first half, and 11 in the second.

The loss drops Waynoka to 0-2 on the season.

With the win, the Bulldogs are now 2-0, and will take on the winner of the Buffalo and Shattuck game Thursday in the Laverne Invitational.
