The Turpin Cardinals bounced back in a big way, scoring the first 32 points of the game on their way to a 52-20 win over the Boise City Wildcats.

Turpin quarterback Isaahia Villalobos led the Cardinals offense with 279 yards rushing and 155 yards passing, with a touchdown on the ground and two through the air. Running back Caleb Olson did his part as well rushing for 100 yards and three touchdowns.

Turpin led just 8-0 after one quarter of play, but three plays into the second quarter, Olson scored his first TD of the game to go up 16-0. Olson scored again from a yard out, then Villalobos his tight end Alex Lopez for a 67-yard TD pass to go up 32-0. Boise City was able to score before the half ended to make the score 32-8.

After another Olson TD run, Villalobos and Lopez connected again, this time from 68 yards out to make the score, 44-8 late in the third quarter.

Turpin added another score in the fourth to win by 32.
